To celebrate Redfish Rocks Marine Reserve & Marine Protected Area and our local marine environment, the Redfish Rocks Community Team (RRCT) is hosting the “Waters of Port Orford” photo contest!
Entry is free.
All ocean lovers who have taken striking photos of Redfish Rocks Marine Reserve or of our local marine waters are encouraged to enter!
The contest is open to both professional and amateur photographers (with a separate category for each) and will run from July 23, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. until August 27, 2010 at 3:00 p.m.
Contest winners will be chosen by the community. Judging will take place at the Port Orford Public Library on Monday, August 30 from 5 - 8 p.m.
All submissions will be on display and the community will vote during this period. There will also be an associated underwater slide show that will highlight the underwater environment of Port Orford.
