THE DOUBLE EVENT

Bandon is never satisfied to be the most art friendly town on the coast, they have to be bigger, better and brighter than all the other kids on the playground. On Sunday Bandon once again proved that they know how to do it right. The Finely Wrought show opened at Southern Coos Hospital while just down the street at Sage Gallery, three of the most gifted artists in the area spent their afternoon giving away their secrets. In the boutique setting of Sage Gallery's main showroom Pat Snyder, Janne LaValle and Susan Lehman captivated an audience of master artists with the tricks of the collage trade.

Pat works on his piece while Janne works the room...

Susan just works...

The audience watched the magic in silence...

while the master magicians turned style into substance...

Some had to stand to see The Big Picture...

Every eye was on the three miracle workers...

Even those who needed a little help to get a head above the crowd...

The usual suspects were there...

Even with the press of the crowd Pat stayed focused...

Sharon moved in for a closer look...

When it was all said and done, everyone had a great time, learned a lot and wished many thanks to Pat snyder, Janne LaValle and Susan Lehman. And to Anne Sobotta and Sage Gallery for keeping Bandon the head of the class.
