2010 Celebrate Arts! Call to Artists

Celebrate Arts!, considered to be the grandest annual visual arts show of the year at the Florence Events Center, proudly announces a Call to Artists. This juried annual show traditionally attracts some of the most talented artists from Lane County and beyond.

Applications are available to artists presenting in categories of two-dimensional, three-dimensional and photography, as well as two “Young Artist” categories. Last year a new award was added to include the Florence Community Award, which began the establishment of a permanent art collection at the Florence Events Center for the pleasure and enjoyment of the community.

2010 Celebrate Arts!, sponsored by “Friends of the Florence Events Center,” will open to the public for viewing beginning November 5th through November 13, 2010. Entry deadline is October 15th. Awards will include Best of Show in two-dimension, three-dimension and photography, Young Artists, People’s Choice and Honorable Mention and award winners will be on display through the duration of the show. Cash awards will also be presented in the following categories: two-dimensional, three-dimensional, photography and Young Artists.

For those pieces not selected for the Celebrate Arts show, the very popular two-day show, “Salon des Refuses,” will be on display for the public to enjoy.
