Hello Everyone,
Thank you to all who are participating in the July Plein Air show at Gallery by the Bay, 2100 Union Blvd., North Bend.
It's a nice show and I hope you get to see it. The Gallery is open Mon., Wed. Friday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
This Monday, July 12th we will be painting at Dutch John Pond, on the Coquille River near downtown Coquille, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
When you reach the traffic light on HWY 42 in Coquille, turn SW toward the River ( 1/2 a block) and park near the trees. It's a short walk to this painting spot. And it's close to downtown for restaurants, etc.
If you would like to help out the fundraising for the Coquille River Trail, you can donate a painting for the sale on Saturday, July 17th. Paintings will be returned that don't sell. They do not have to be framed...can be matted and in a clear bag, or painted on a canvas that can be hung.
Also, if you donate one, you are welcome to hang others of your paintings for sale. Show is over on Saturday and paintings will be returned that night. I can deliver and pick them up for you if you aren't going to attend. If you are there Saturday you can paint in the gardens that are on the Garden Tour. Can also sell cards and prints at reception (wine, live music) from 4- 6 p.m. Saturday, July 17th.
