JOIN US at SAGE Gallery on Sunday, July 11th, 2:30-5:30 as
Pat Snyder, Susan Lehman, and Janne LeValle unite to do a
demonstration of the collaborative process. They will share
their views on this approach to art making and will each
bring a "start" on paper to exchange during this creative
exercise. You'll learn some amazing things as you observe
their use of paint, layered tissue, fabric and more. The
demo is free to All. Separate/Together is the title of the
collage show and visitors have been intrigued to get a
glimpse of the "process" behind the artwork. If you haven't
taken the time to read the artists' statements that
accompany the show, be sure to give these a little extra
time. It's not as easy as it sounds to give up the artist's
ego and vulnerability and let someone else work on your
masterpiece!
