Coos Art Museum’s Call to Artists for:


 
“All Things Salmon”
October 13, – December 9, 2017

Deadline for submissions is a postmark of August 5, 2017.
 
Eligibility:
Open to all artists—painters, sculptors, photographers and printmakers—over 18 years of age. Artists are invited to submit up to three original works of art on any theme related to Salmon—indigenous history, folklore, sport fishing, salmon/habitat conservation, or the salmon industry. Works selected by juror Dr. Deana Dartt-Newton (Chumash), former Curator of Native American Art at the Portland Art Museum, from submitted entries will be chosen on the basis of creative excellence and quality of execution. All works must be original and completed within the last two years. Coos Art Museum’s “All Things Salmon” juror will be the final authority on eligibility. Only in Crescent City

Grab the old ladies and pack up the babies and everyone go to the Redwood show cause it is a chance to show off your skills, get some great publicity and if you win you can make the payment on the Edsel and save yourself form the shame of having an Edsel repossessed. Oh that's right, they won't even repossess an Edsel!
