And you get to feel so socially aware and in tune that you'll sneer at your less centered friends. Bring your cameras, bring money, bring your dog, cause every pet owner knows that their dog is no mutt, even if it came from the local shelter and come to The Mutt Strut and be where the real action is.

             Mutt Strut RSVP Fund Raiser Saturday 9/222/12

    I just want to remind everyone of the fifth annual RSVP Mutt Strut Fund Raiser on Saturday, Sept.22th, at Mingus Park. We know it is going to be lots of fun too! We have our famous emcee, Chef Jardin who will lead the fun! Plus, there will be contests: Pet\Owner Look Alike, Pet Tricks and Best Dressed Mutt. Judging the contests will be surprise local celebrity judges. Bring your favorite four legged friend(s), join in the contests for $5.00 per contest ($10.00 for all 3) or just come and watch. A general donation is always appreciated. There will be lots of great prizes furnished by our sponsor Coos Grange Supply. Plus, we will be doing Pooch Pictures this year. We have lots of friends who will be adding to our fund raiser. They are: Furry Friends Therapy Dogs, FOCCAS, Fun Characters, Think Pawsitive Agility & Search & Rescue Pooch Demonstrations. Plus, hot dogs and Umpqua Bank ice cream. If you don’t have a favorite four legged friend, we are looking for volunteers to give us a hand that day. As you know it’s for a great cause…the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP).
