Call to Artists:

You are invited to participate in an art show entitled:

“Winter Wonder”.

Find a piece of artwork that reflects the color, temperature or feeling of winter. All mediums are accepted. There is no size restriction. Please bring your artwork to the gallery on Jan. 30 – Feb. 1st to become a part of this show. It is always exciting to see how everyone responds to a theme. There is no entrance fee charged for any show in our gallery. The show will remain up from Feb. 2nd to March 30th. Please mark your calendar and become a part of this show!

-“Using the Pouring Technique in Watercolor” with Sherry Howk.

Mondays in January starting on the 9th from 10:00 to 12:30 at the gallery. Students will learn the basics of pouring and how to utilize it in a finished watercolor. Class is open to all levels. The cost is only $60 for all four classes.

-“Cartooning” with Bandon artist Leo Chiantelli.

Leo has worked in advertising and education. He welcomes all ages and abilities. The class will be divided into four sessions on Thursdays from 3:30-5:30PM starting on Jan. 26th and continuing until Feb.16th. Each week will emphasize something different: heads, bodies, action and animals. Cost is only $60 for all four sessions.

“Silk Paper” – A How to Class with Liz Brende.

This is a workshop on Thursday, Jan. 19th from 1:00-3:00 PM. Cost is $40. This class offers the basic techniques for making this lustrous “paper” / fabric. It can be used to make pouches, clutches, ornaments, elements for collage, bowls art pieces and much more.

“Creating Texture in Collage” with Susan Lehman

Workshop offered Saturday, Feb. 18th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Take your collages to the next level through the use of various acrylic products and handmade papers. This class is suitable for all levels of painters and collagists. All materials are included for a fee of only $45.

“Palette Knife Techniques with Acrylics” with Carolyn Le Grande

This four week class will be offered in February. More details to come!
