Western Oregon Regional

Opening night for the Western Oregon Regional was filled with art and artists as the Coos Art Museum presented this eclectic exhibit.

Some artists did sculpture. I'm sure this was what Charles Shultz had in mind when he created the Great Pumpkin. Okay, so it's a gourd, but that's a squash.

The youth movement was out in force.

The Man in The Carpeted Office had a quiet word with the Grande Exalted Imperial Stomper, or as we know it, the juror.

There were famous artists and famous volunteers...

They even came in flocks, if you stalked them carefully...

The Board, those guys who keep the doors open and the direction on the right path, they came out too...

 Great art requires careful study...

There was time for the great to mingle with the near-great and even the not so great...

There were words and smiles all around...

And the Last word goes to...
