As some of you may know, the Coos Bay rail line is celebrating 100 years this August and the Port of Coos Bay is planning a 3 day event similar to the “Railroad Jubilee” that kicked off rail service to the Willamette Valley in 1916.
100 years ago, a contest was held to “vote for your favorite theme.” Today, we are holding a contest to “vote for your favorite Railroad Centennial Logo.” As a vital part to the Port and this event, we are asking for your contribution and vote!
Attached to this e-mail are four railroad logos labeled as logo one, two, three, and four. Please vote for one of them either by going to the Port’s Facebook pagehttps://www.facebook.com/portofcoosbay or e-mailing Fiona Bai at the Port of Coos Bay with your choice, fbai@portofcoosbay.com.
Your votes will be tallied up with the total Facebook votes in selecting the final Railroad Centennial Logo this Friday, March 18th.
