f Reedsport has once again adopted the beach accessed by Sparrow Park Road (just North of Gardiner) during SOLV’s Annual Great Oregon Spring Beach Clean-up on Saturday, March 26, 2016—rain or shine.

To add to the excitement of this event the Rotary Club and Ocean Beaches Glassblowing & Gallery (Seal Rock, OR) are donating glass floats.  These floats will be given away by raffle to those who volunteer their time during the clean-up.  Participants will receive one raffle ticket for each bag of trash turned in during the day.  At the end of the clean-up, names will be drawn and each drawn ticket holder will receive a glass float – limit one per person.

Meet us at the parking lot at the junction of Highways 101 & 38 at 9:30 am on Saturday, March 26, 2016.  Carpooling and transportation will be arranged that morning to get everyone to the clean-up site.  You can also join the group any time during the morning by simply coming to the beach site at the end of Sparrow Park Road (please note the road can be very rough and the parking is very limited).

The Rotary Club wishes to thank Bob & Vick Meyer of Ocean Beaches Glassblowing & Gallery for the discounted glass floats.  You can learn more about Ocean Beaches at www.oceanbeachesglass.com.  It also wishes to thank the Sugar Shack Bakery for the donation of donuts for the morning’s event.

Take a look at this year's floats!
