Join contemporary landscape painter Randall David Tipton in using an experimental approach towards landscape in the Mixed Watermedia Workshop that will take place Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Instructor Randall David Tipton provides mostly demonstrations of various techniques, experimental in nature, using unusual tools and different approaches. What he offers is new attitudes about the process itself and our motivations as painters. Participants will use improvisation as a strategy, with less focus on the preconception of the results and more awareness of why we choose the subjects we do. The big question dealt with in this workshop will be: what animates our imaginations? Tipton will offer critiques if desired.
