Local artists Susan Lehman and Pat Snyder have been juried into the "Text Us" Show at Umpqua Valley Arts Association in Roseburg. Lehman received 2nd Place with her "To Be or Not To Be" collage. Text Us will be on view until January 6th. If you get over that way make sure to see this excellent and diverse show featuring Symbols, Letters, and Words where some element of written or symbolic language is an integral visual part of each artwork.

Pat Snyder and Susan Lehman are everywhere this month, not that that should come as a surprise to anyone. Both are artists of supreme talent, but that isn't the secret behind their success. They keep working and competing, measuring their works against the best in the area. That's the way to wi9nning an award and both Susan and Pat have a sheet full of credits to prove the pudding.
Good job guys, and I suppose congratulations are a bit late, but what the hey, congratulations anyway.
