The Coos Art Museum hosted it reception for the 2010 Public Hanging of Oregon Art last night and all of the really important people were there. You weren't? And you know you're important, well don't despair, come see the show and bring money. Make up for missing out on the opening and the artist meet and greet by dropping large denomination bills in the donation box. You'll feel soooooooo much better and the Museum will be delighted and you're coming to see that show anyway, so don't freeload, bring cash.
Just look at the people who did come out...
Susan Lehman was there, studying the entries and discussing their merits...
Stephen was everywhere, making sure all of the guest artists had their day...
Archi directed traffic...
Del was there congratulating the celebrity artists...
Charles of Charleston had his word...
Some things required a closer look...
Thoughtful conversations broke out everywhere...
Some had definite opinions...
Some just wanted to share their views...
Some worked all night...
And some had plenty to say...
And at the end of the night even The Man in The Carpeted Office was happy. (Maybe... I think...Could be.)
