Food For Thought

If you weren't at Southern Coos Hospital Sunday you were the only one. The crowds turned out for the opening reception of The Artist and Writer's Exchange 2010. There was art enough to satisfy the most discriminating tastes, from the mystic to the graphic. And the usual suspects studied each poem and picture with lazar-like focus.

The exhibiting artists strolled and shared their inspiration and huddled with each other trying to get inside the mysteries of another artist's vision.



The halls of the hospital were full...



Ava greeted everyone at the gate...



Is that what it means?



Victoria was on hand for more complex explanations...



CAM director Stephen Broocks gave it thoughtful consideration...



Voices were lifted in song...



But back at the walls consideration was still the watch word...



There was so much to see and consider maybe it would be best to just come back and take a second or even a third look.
