Hello to Artists who paint Plein Air:
Southern Coos Hospital is hosting a show for April, May, and
June titled “Flora and Fauna of the Coquille Watershed”.
We are inviting plein air artists to submit 1 – 3 paintings
related to plants and animals found in the Coquille Watershed. There is a map
of the area on a website included in the attached Call to
Artists.
The watershed covers a large percentage of places where our
plein air groups paint, so most of you will have paintings in your possession
that will fit into this category.
Also in the show will be Bandon school students who are
studying native plants and animals in the watershed area, so it will be a broad
and varied representation.
We are looking forward to your participation.
The drop off date for the show is Wednesday, April
8th at 2:00 p.m. at the hospital. There is no entry fee. If you
need to drop off at a different time or date, please contact us.
