Traveling Exhibit of Art Quilts




“Simply Red,” a traveling exhibit of art quilts and fiber art wall hangings will be featured at Pacific Park Gallery in Coos Bay from Nov. 3, 2013 through Jan. 20, 2014. An artists’ reception will be held 1-3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 3, at Pacific Park Gallery, inside Pacific Coast Medical Park, 1957 Thompson Rd., Coos Bay. The public is invited.
The show is presented by High Fiber Diet, a member organization of the Columbia Fiber Arts Guild of Portland. The 25 pieces in the show were created by artists from Western Oregon and Southwestern Washington.  

Work by local fabric artists Shirley HammarRenee’ FreidinSharon Leahy, Mary Kohler, Victoria Tierney and Kelle Herrick will be shown in the Gallery’s Mezzanine. Local photographers Roland and Carol Miranda are also featured in the Mezzanine.

Directions: Follow signs to the Bay Area hospital from Sherman or Broadway.
From Sherman, the Pacific Coast Medical Park is about a block and a half past the hospital on the left.
From Broadway, follow Thompson around to the right and Pacific Coast Medical Park is on the right before you get to the hospital. Its the first medical complex on the right.
The driveway is marked with stone walls and lots of medical signs and "Gallery Open" sign. We're in the primary building as you drive in.
