Surviving the Hanging

Just got back from Pacific Park Gallery where the Ole Trawler and the Long Sufferin enjoyed their first joint exhibit. There were quilts there too.

The Pacific Park Gallery located at 1957 Thompson Road, coos Bay, OR 97420 is open Monday through Friday during normal business hours and on exceptional occasions like today on Sundays for  receptacon.

If you weren't there and given the Oregon weather and NFL Sunday I am not completely surprised but if you weren't then you missed out on all of the elbow rubbing and glad handing and that is a shame cause you could have engaged an actual artists or talked to the Ole Trawler.

But for those who did brave the weather which managed to hold off until after the official close of the reception there was art-foo, music-foo, food-foo. elbow-rubbing-foo and talk-foo, it was big doings and you should have been there.

But in case you couldn't shake your NFL habit, the art will be there for the rest of the year and you can go anytime during the week so long as it is within recognized office hours and you won't get to do all the fooing but you can see the art and that will make the trip worth taking.

And if you haven't made holiday pl;ans Halloween just being over and the rest6 of the holiday whirlwind not having taken a death grip yet, you can take a look at the colorful visual aids and see if that won't satisfy some of your holiday needs.

Now I'll bet you are sad and desolate that you didn't come to the receptacon at Pacific Park Gallery.
