Learn from one of the area’s most imaginative and skilled artists in a two-day, adults-only Experimental Drawing workshop Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 10:30a.m. to 2:30p.m. at Coos Art Museum.  Renowned local artist, printmaker and art educator Pat Snyder will share with workshop participants the kinetics of abstract drawing and painting, with emphasis on the drawing component.

Students will work in an individualized and spacious setting, solving challenges and engaging in activities designed to take them through the process of creating and examining the non-objective approach to art making. Participants will journey away from the traditional descriptive and narrative art processes and through this unique method of learning will augment artwork by cultivating subconscious and nonverbal expressions.
