The Schooner Inn Café will host the CDABA First Friday . . . Art is for Everyone event on August 7, 2015, 5-7 pm and showcase the art of Chris Lechuga. The event will be held on the Umpqua River Boardwalk.
The Umpqua Discover Center, 409 Riverfront Way, Reedsport, OR 97467, will also be participating in this event. Its Board is excited to extend the hours during this event and offer ½ admission, so that the art works of Peggy O’Neal can be a part of the event. Peggy O’Neal is a part of WOW arts & exhibits Inc. in North Bend, OR and is the artist who designed and fabricated the award winning exhibition Tidewaters and Time and also the natural history wing, Pathways to Discovery of the Umpqua Discovery Center.
Featured Artists for this event will be: Chris Lechuga, painter; Curtis Garrison, handmade walking sticks and other wood items; Lois & Larry Gerstner, photos in handmade wooden frames; Katrina Rochon, family photography; Beverly Apple, handmade jewelry from vintage copper; and Arden and Laura Olson, photography.
First Friday events are FREE to attend. CDABA sponsors the First Friday art events at different locations, featuring different artists.
