What’s the difference between you and a bestselling author?  Find out Thursday, October 16, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Coos Art Museum.  Join the Museum for the second of its October lectures and escape into the world of fiction as local writer and photographer Roland Miranda delves into the lecture topic “Writing Fiction or Blood, Toil, Tears and Sweat”.  With his engaging blend of humor and wit, Mr. Miranda will both entertain and educate the audience on what it takes to be a successful fiction writer.

Roland Miranda was for fifteen years the Artistic Director, writer, producer and actor of Poison Pen Mysteries of Dallas, Texas.  He has fifteen produced plays and is a published poet.  Mr. Miranda now lives in Coos Bay where he is active in the Arts Community as a Fine Art Photographer.
