Neighbor to Neighbor Mediation Services will present the 5th Annual Chair~ity Event on Friday, October 25, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m next to Payless Shoes in Pony Village Mall, North Bend.  Poets and artists from as far away as Eugene and Port Orford will converge in an evening of poetry reading, exhibition of artwork and decorated chairs.  Music, appetizers and refreshments will be provided.  This event is free and open to the public.

Decorated chairs may be purchased or sponsored for a $100 donation to Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  Please visit the display at Pony Village Mall to make your selection.  Proceeds from this event benefit the Youth Conflict and Violence Prevention Program taught in local schools by Neighbor to Neighbor (N2N) Mediation Services. N2N has been serving Coos and Douglas County communities since 1996. The organization's mission is to advocate for collaborative conflict resolution by providing education and affordable mediation services. Approximately half of the chair entries have already been dropped off at Pony Village Mall and are displayed in the windows of the former Performance Sound store next to Payless Shoes.
