Remember those big story books we read as kids? Turning those monumental pages to see what was on the next page???
Working intuitively we will spontaneously collage one BIG sheet of paper by layering glazes, images, and words. We will add various types of image transfers, stamping, and page weaving! This background will then be folded into our “Big Books”, the basis for further embellishments and story-telling, creating a “page-turner” that can be a journal, book of poetry, sketchbook, or art book! (Or, as I have done in the past, be finished as a large collage before the folding!)
Suitable for all artists-- this class is especially great for beginners because the big book can be a lasting record of the techniques Susan presents! Maximum 6 students to accommodate the large size of the project! Dress for mess!!!
