This coming Monday is February 14th. No paintout is scheduled for this week. Enjoy the time with your honey, your friends, and/or your paints in the studio. :)
I hope as many of you as possible can make it this Friday evening to Freshwater Gallery's (Port Orford) opening for the "Figurative Aphrodite" show. Reception is 5 - 8:00 p.m.
I'd like to say farewell to a couple of the painters in our midst who have recently passed away--- Richard Yarnell from Port Orford and Spencer Billington from Coos Bay. They contributed much to our art community and we will miss them both.

***Vicki Affatati has a new project and needs help. She is teaching art after school at Harborlights Middle School--5/6th graders on Wednesdays, and 7th/8th graders on Thursdays, both 3:30 - 5 p.m.
She needs tempera paint and large white paper (heavy vellum). They can use other art supplies too. So if any of you artists have supplies you aren't using, or know someone who can donate please contact Vicki. vickimajid@yahoo.com
Also if any artists would like to help teach or substitute for Vicki now and then, let her know.
