IN MORE DETAIL
Join us at the Coos Art Museum on Saturday, October 29th, 2016 for “Mask Making” Kids, teens and/or parents will create masks using cardboard, hot glue, paper, paint, fabric and anything else they can get their hands on to make a mask just in time for Halloween. First we will sketch ideas, then create a structure that will fit comfortably by learning how to score cardboard for more bendability. Participants will then decorate the mask using any materials that can be glued on cardboard. Masks can be as simple or as complex as desired and there will be guidance on problem solving design issues. All the materials will be supplied, but kids can bring things from home or nature if they have something specific in mind they want to make.

Children of all skill levels are welcome. Class size is limited to 15 participants. Workshop Fee: $20 CAM members / $30 non-members. Registration ends October 28, 2016. For registration go to www.coosart.org or visit Coos Art Museum at 235 Anderson in Downtown Coos Bay.
