THE WATERCOLOR SOCIETY OF OREGON will be holding their fall conference in Bandon this coming Octo-ber. Victoria Tierney and Sharon Jensen are co-chairs in hosting this large group of artists for meetings, sightseeing and a paint-ing workshop. We are excited to welcome them all to our area.

Show runs through May 1st. 2-d art only, no photog-raphy will be included. Each artist may apply for one rod from which 3 paintings can be hung. Maximum framed width per painting is 30”. Coos Bay Community Mural Project Community groups & individual artists are encouraged to submit designs for 4’ x 8’ murals to be installed on the exterior of the First Call Resolution building on 2nd Court in Coos Bay. Designs should be submitted in a format no larger than 24” x 36” & delivered to the Coos Bay Down-town Association Office on the 4th floor of the Hall Bldg on 230 Central (Suite 410). Open Tues.-Fri. 9am-12pm. Designs with a maritime theme are encouraged. Selec-tions will be made during the first week of March. 4’ x 8’ MDO board, paint & brush-es will be provided.
