Hello Sage Friends,


I hope Spring is treating you well and you

will be visiting us at Sage Place/ SAGE Gallery soon!

If you have not visited in a while, we have now fully

relocated to our own building, located at 525 11th St. SE in

Bandon and you will find us just across the street from Bandon

Supply, about half way between the Hospital and Post Office.



Most of our Gallery visitors have found us in our new space

and love the downstairs aspect! We continue to represent several

of your favorite local artists, Donna Wright, Kimberly Wurster,

Pat Snyder, Pat Stannard, to name a few. We are also exhibiting

works by new glass and jewelry artists and will be gearing

up to celebrate our 5th year of SAGE Gallery and 2nd

Anniversary of Sage Place this summer.


It may have been a while since we sent our last email to

you; we have been busy working to simplify and consolidate our

email lists from the two businesses.

Included below is a listing of our upcoming April workshops

and I'll soon be sending out information letting you know

what is coming to Sage in May and June, as well as special

events for this summer.

SPRING WORKSHOPS AT SAGE PLACE...

THIS WEEK: April 8 - 15


It's not too late...we still have space...

"INTRODUCTION TO FUSED GLASS: PAINTING WITH FRITS &


POWDERS" Sat. April 14, 12-4 pm, $45 all materials

included. This class is a great place to begin getting

acquainted with just what is possible in fusing glass.

Students make three projects covering a variety of

techniques in application. *workshop qualifies as

pre-requisite for Open Studio use in fused glass. Special

Note: Enrollment for this week's class may be completed by

calling in a payment may be made on the day of workshop.

***This class will be offered again Wed. May 16, 12-4pm.



April 16 - 22


"CAB WRAP - INTRO TO WIRE WRAPPING WITH SHARON" - Thursday,

April 16, 6-9 pm, $35 plus $5 materials fee. This workshop

is a Sage favorite, students love Sharon's calm and

reassuring instructional techniques and often repeat this

workshop to master their wire working skills.



"SIMPLE STRINGING - INTRO TO BEADING" - Friday, April 20,

1-4 pm, $25 tuition. We get many requests for this workshop

which covers everything from bead types, the difference in

stringing materials, clasp attachment, and design planning.

A great way to get your feet wet in the Bead world!

(Materials List will be provided and supply cost will vary

by student choices.)



"INTRO TO STAINED GLASS - Tools and Techniques" - Saturday,

April 21, 1-4 pm, $30. This is the first step to making

beautiful glass enhancements for your home, gardens, or

gifts. Students learn to safely use the tools and work with

glass, plan designs and begin projects. *workshop qualifies

as pre-requisite for Open Studio use in stained glass.



"EMBOSSED AND EMBELLISHED EARRINGS - INTRO TO METALS" -

Sunday, April 22, 2 - 5 pm. $35, includes most materials.

Sharon will be back for more fun as she introduces students

to texturing metals and working with wire and beads to

embellish with creativity. Materials list for

embellishments will be provided.



April 23 - 28


"VIKING KNIT BRACELET - wire working" - Friday, April 27,

1-4 pm, $35 plus materials. Sherri is back from her

travels! Always a delightful instructor, students love this

workshop and learning to use the Viking Knit tool to create

fabulously elegant jewelry. (Supply costs will vary by wire

choices, $17 and up).


OPEN STUDIO STAINED GLASS: Tuesday, April 24, 1-4 pm, $18

*pre-requisite- "Intro Stained Glass"



OPEN STUDIO METALS, BEADING & FUSED GLASS: Sessions are

being scheduled for May and June.

REGISTRATION POLICY:

Pre-registration deposit is required to ensure enrollment.

Payment in full is due four days prior to workshop, unless

otherwise noted. Cancellations must be received four days

before workshop, unless otherwise noted, to receive store credit

or refund-additional restrictions may apply to specialized

workshops; check with sales associate at time of

registration. Some workshops will require the signing of a

"Safety Waiver" to allow participation.
