This is a fun and easy journal for anyone to make. It is an accordian journal with 3 signatures, filled with things students bring to class. Deborah will bring all the essentials for making the journal. Students bring 18 assorted papers, old unfinished or discarded pieces of art, postcards, music pages, old calendar art, watercolors, text or any sturdy papers that will provide interesting surfaces for a journal. Deborah will have extras that can be used. Maximum of 6 students.
Wed. Oct. 10 – Oil & Cold Wax with Ava Richey 10-4:00 $40
All materials included. Maximum of 3 students.

the middle. $35 All materials provided, but students may
bring a photo to use as a reference, if they so choose.

Zentangle is a fun art form that takes line and shapes to make abstract form. Students will use these qualities of line and shape to design a piece of art that will have the student’s artistic fingerprint throughout. Students, start looking through magazines for the shapes and art forms that inspire you…maybe something for the holidays. Start a file for ideas for the workshop. It is fun and will exercise your creative skills, as you draw and doodle through your project. Materials to bring to class: 1) Bristol board paper or watercolor paper ¼ sheet. 2) Black ink micro pen. Fine line .50 or smaller 3) Waterproof ink 4) #2 Pencil. Good soft gum eraser 5) Ruler 6) Colored pencil…to add color if desired. 7) Paper Smudger for shadowing work.
