Eligibility:
Open to all artists—painters, sculptors, photographers and printmakers—over 18 years of age. Artists are invited to submit up to three original works of art on any theme related to Salmon—indigenous history, folklore, sport fishing, salmon/habitat conservation, or the salmon industry. Works selected by juror Dr. Deana Dartt-Newton (Chumash), former Curator of Native American Art at the Portland Art Museum, from submitted entries will be chosen on the basis of creative excellence and quality of execution. All works must be original and completed within the last two years. Coos Art Museum’s “All Things Salmon” juror will be the final authority on eligibility.
