Summer Time

Although contra dance, international folk dance, and the Celtic session are on hiatus for the summer, your folk society is still working hard for you! Check out these events coming up.

IRISH MUSICIANS IN COOS BAY
Galway-based flutist Steph Geremia and accordionist Alan Kelly will play a house concert tomorrow, June 22, in Coos Bay. Tickets are $16.82 and seating is limited, so get a ticket online via Eventbrite here: http://wordpress.us10.list-manage.com/track/click?u=727bcda7b9a3cb6201829cfc7&id=dd9430a0f8&e=47261c8db2. You can read all about them at Eventbrite, but we'll just say here that Steph has toured with the Chieftains and Alan has toured with De Danann, so it's a unique opportunity to experience some great talent up close right here in town. Get your ticket now before they're gone!

As you know, this is a once-in-a-century opportunity to "Spread the Joy" of contra dance, traditional square dance, traditional music, and group singing. We're going to ask you to invite two people to Folk Week. Who will your two people be? Start thinking about it now.
