We invite you to pick up a board (18” x 24”) to paint for the 2015 Port of Bandon Boardwalk Show. You have until June 15th to turn in your board.
The theme this year is “Coastal Creatures, Real or Imagined” so you have a broad range of ideas for painting.
Please
use acrylic paint or some other medium that will withstand hanging
outdoors all summer in the sun, wind and rain. Please seal both sides
of the board with a clear coat spray such as Krylon (found at the
hardware store) to protect it from exposure.
Entry forms and boards are available at both the Port of Bandon and at Art by the Sea Gallery in Old Town Bandon.
Attached to this email is a poster for show and an entry form you can fill out before you pick up the board, if you like.
Boards
are $10 each. If you already have a board from previous years you can
paint on it, but you will still need to pay the $10 entry fee. These
fees help to pay for the ribbons and cash prizes that will be awarded
during Cranberry Festival in September. Please make sure your name and
phone number appear on the back of your board.
