Exploring Drawing Skills will be presented at Coos Art Museum on Saturdays, May 2, 9, and 16, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Young artists in Grades 6 – 12 will develop some new approaches to drawing in this three Saturday class.  Jim Davenport will present the basics of composition, perspective, balance, line and value.  His delightful style of teaching has made him one of the most popular art instructors for children and teens at Coos Art Museum.

Cost is $45 for CAM members and $55 for non-members.  All materials will be provided.  Annual Student Memberships are only $15, so if you have a young artist interested in taking additional classes throughout the year you may want to consider purchasing a membership in order to receive discounted rates on classes.  Coos Art Museum also offers scholarships for full or partial tuition so that eligible children and teens can participate in CAM classes and workshops.  Applications are available by emailing sldonaldson@coosart.org.
