Annual Meeting and Workshop of the international Nature Printing Society. We
will be at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology September
8-14.
We were at OIMB in
2010 as well. A reporter from The World visited us during the week and wrote
this article which can give you a good idea of what we are about: http://theworldlink.com/entertainment/fishy-impressions/article_22cbc95a-c218-11df-9628-001cc4c002e0.html
I have also attached a
PDF of that article.

the NPS, visit our website, www.natureprintingsociety.org
Since 2010 in
Charleston , our annual workshops have been in Fort Collins ,
Colorado , and Little Switzerland, North Carolina . We're excited to be
returning to Charleston ! Members are coming long distances (from the Channel
Islands in the UK ; a fire tower in northern Alberta ; Florida ; Nantucket ….)
to take advantage of the expertise of our instructors, share their nature
printing techniques with one another, and enjoy the good fishing and spectacular
scenery of your area.
We welcome observers
any time during the week - just ask someone for Sharron, they'll find me and
I'll be happy to give you a tour.
On Monday evening,
September 9, we'll have a Market Night in the OIMB Dining Hall,
7:00–9:00 p.m. We hope to attract members of the public to view
the work of a wide array of our nature printing artist members. Much of the
work, ranging from jewelry created from natural forms to life-size original
gyotaku, will be for sale.
I have attached a flyer that can be emailed or printed
out.
I'd very much
appreciate anything you can do for us, and I am open to suggestions for other
contacts in the area. (I have already contacted The World.) Please note my
contact info in the signature block below.
Thank you in
advance,
