A Thread of an Idea

Come Sunday. Sunday, Sunday visit the beautiful Pacific Park Gallery at 1957 Thompson Rd. craftily located just off Woodland Drive and around the corner past Kinney Drive on the way to the Bay Area Hospital which you should never need, but God Forbid you should know the way just in case but if you get there you have gone too far so look for the Pacific Park signs and the clever little sign which says Gallery Open which should give you a clue in case you don't have one.

There will be snacks and wine and art and artists and good conversation with adult people who speak in English and not Text-speak and you can refresh yourself with nary a football game in sight and that will be a change from the twenty-four straight hours of football on one hundred channels with the Thing on the couch using five remotes all at the same time and why isn't he so handy when it comes to doing the chores and taking out the trash? Never mind.

So make your plans, set the remote by the couch, put the pizza rolls in the microwave and stock the fidge with beer and chances are the Thing on the Couch will never even know you are gone.

Weave your way to the Pacific Park Gallery's opening Sunday November 10, 2019 from 2-4PM To see the amazing fiber works and the incredible artists on display this season.

I find it hard to write complete sentences bur these artists do their best work with thread and a loom or needles. Come a feel completely inadequate and at the same time awed. So much better than wasting another Sunday fetching snacks and drinks for the Thing on the Couch, You know the Thing won't even miss you until after the Stupid Bowl in the Spring.
